How to verify your website traffic statistics using Google Analytics
Traffic statistics are one of the key guidelines that Linkhouse’s Advertisers take into account. Although their submission is not required to add an offer to our panel, their absence may lead to less interest in publications and links. Why is it worth publishing traffic information, how to easily and automatically share data with Linkhouse and how does Linkhouse present these statistics?
Why is it worth sharing your website data with Linkhouse?
Providing both the main traffic reports and additional statistics has at least a few benefits:
- transparent information on the volume and characteristics of traffic can have a positive effect on the sale of posted offers.
- better data can attract informed Advertisers who choose the type of publication and its value appropriately, so Publishers can receive better orders that are more tailored to their business profile.
- offers full of statistics, available to each Advertiser, have all predispositions to a higher, justified valuation.
- thanks to sharing statistics, you can save time spent on inquiries or corrections after publication/link insertion.
- “Get found” – accurate demographic data allows you to reach advertisers interested in reach advertising and building brand awareness in a given location or target group. The offer containing a full set of statistics stands out not only from other offers but also from many other forms of advertising, in which there are no statistics at this level of detail.
Which data and how does Linkhouse use?
Linkhouse only receives access to the statistics that you provide to us. They will be visible to every logged in user of the platform in the Marketplace.
Instructions for sharing statistics
We have introduced a new option to send Google Analytics reports – now it can be done directly from the Publisher -> My Websites.
Clicking on this icon will display a pop-up window with the ability to load reports in PDF format, generated directly from Google Analytics.
This module verifies the dependence of the data entered manually by the Publisher with the actual state in Google Analytics.
After uploading the report in PDF format, the prompt from “The report has not yet been added. Upload your report now.” changes to “Report awaiting moderation ”. Linkhouse checks the correctness of the data during this time.
If the data does not match (it has been taken from the wrong section or does not contain results for the last 30 days), you will be prompted to indicate the source of the error.
Traffic verification is currently possible only for users of the Google Analytics system – we do not offer this option for other traffic tracking systems. In case of problems with sharing statistics, write to us at firstname.lastname@example.org
NEW VERSION OF GOOGLE ANALYTICS
In the new interface of Google Analytics, you can’t send your reports directly from the dashboard. What you’ll need to do is to download a PDF report generated by GA and send it to us (separately, one report per mail) at email@example.com with the title “GA report | URL of your website”.
Types of Google Analytics reports accepted in Linkhouse
Google Analytics report: traffic
Log in to your Google Analytics and select the view AUDIENCE -> OVERVIEW
Then select the date range – last 30 days – click APPLY and then SHARE, then Download File in PDF. In other GA versions, you may need to use Export -> PDF.
Then, selected PDF files can be uploaded via “My Websites” for verification by Linkhouse.
Remember that in order for your traffic stats to be marked as verified, you must do so according to the instructions.
In addition to the data collected so far regarding the number of users and page views per month, we are starting to download additional reports from Google Analytics.
In the Linkhouse panel, we also provide other information about the audience on the website, which may be useful for Advertisers who want to narrow their search as much as possible. The results will be displayed for each offer after clicking on the Stats button, and Publishers who decide to send additional reports will receive an additional marking next to the offer. This will allow for better exposure of the Publishers, providing a complete set of statistics about their portals.
Google Analytics Report: demographic
Many advertisers may be interested in data about the gender and age of their audience, so we provide the option to download such data directly from Google Analytics.
Google Analytics> Audience> Demographic> Age
Then, analogically, select data from the last 30 days (calendar in the upper right corner of the panel), click “Apply”, and “Share” according to the report sending template below. In this way, Linkhouse will receive real figures and percentages about the six groups of visitors to the portal.
In the same section of GA, you will also find information about the gender of the website visitors, which is just as easy to share directly with Linkhouse.

Google Analytics Report: Interests
In addition to specifying the industry of the offer when adding to the Linkhouse panel, now you can also enrich your offer with Interests straight from Google Analytics.

Here you can see the industries that are related and closest to the content and topics on the portal.
To provide Linkhouse data, by default, select the range of the last 30 days in the upper right corner and select sending statistics to firstname.lastname@example.org, in accordance with the instructions above.
Google Analytics> Audience> Interests> In-market segments
Similarly, you can display and share data relating to market segments that correspond to the subject and content of the portal.
Google Analytics Report: Acquisition
Often advertisers may be interested in the sources of traffic acquisition for a given portal. To make it easier for them to obtain this information, we have made it possible for Publishers to easily submit such data to Linkhouse.
Google Analytics> Acquisition> Overview> All Traffic> Channels
Data about the best channels, the number of users broken down by traffic sources can be easily shared with Linkhouse thanks to the “Share” option.
Please pay attention, in any case, to the relevant date range – the last 30 days!
